Leaning on Our Beloved
One of the Holy Spirit’s strategies in this hour is to produce lovesick worshipers of Jesus. The protection of such rare and precious love is found in the heart posture that “leans” on God. This is key to gaining insight regarding the struggle that many of us find ourselves in. Mike Bickle teaches that as the Holy Spirit embraces us in our brokenness, humility, and transparency, He is doing two things: He is producing in us a heart to love and a heart to lean. The leaning heart protects the loving heart, but there is a paradox to understand on this journey.
